Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information gathered during a visit, why it is used, and the limited circumstances in which another party may receive it. By using Apache County Criminal History, you agree to the practices stated here.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

A name or place entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its own results. We do not keep a local log of those search terms.

Messages and Contact Submissions

We retain an email message when needed to answer it. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Data We Gather Automatically

Our servers receive routine technical details when a page loads, including:

  • Page-view times and time spent on visited pages
  • Device type, operating system, browser, and browser version
  • The device's assigned IP address
  • A referring website, when one supplied the visit

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small device files that help measure traffic patterns, popular pages, and exit points. Analytics providers combine that activity into broader site-use reports. A browser can block cookies, although doing so may change how some features behave.

What We Do With This Data

  • Operate the site and maintain reasonable loading speed
  • Route a search request to the provider selected by the tool
  • Measure which resources visitors use most
  • Diagnose errors and other technical faults
  • Present advertising that may reflect visitor interests

No Criminal-Record Data on File

We do not compile, maintain, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Apache County material remains with its courts, sheriff, jail, and police agencies. The Arizona Department of Public Safety Central State Repository and Arizona Sex Offender Information maintain separate state systems. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data are not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal files.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy policies govern information submitted to those tools, and each company sets its own retention and disclosure practices. Review the provider's terms before running a query because this policy does not control that processing.

Links to Other Websites

Links can lead to Apache County offices, Arizona court portals, state agencies, and outside tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy applies. Read that policy before sharing personal information.

Some advertising providers may measure activity across websites to select ads. That processing occurs on the provider's systems.

Who Might See Your Data

Personal information is not sold. It may be disclosed to:

  • An analytics provider measuring traffic and performance
  • A search partner processing a query submitted to its tool
  • An advertising network placing content on a page
  • A government or law-enforcement body acting under a valid legal order

How We Protect Your Data

We use standard safeguards for collected data. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so those measures cannot eliminate every chance of unauthorized access.

Users Under 18

This resource is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under age 18. We will remove such data when notified that a minor supplied it.

Your Data Rights

Applicable privacy or consumer law may provide rights beyond those listed here. Arizona Public Records Law, including A.R.S. 39-121, governs access to government records, while A.R.S. 41-1750 separately limits dissemination from the state criminal-history repository. Those government-record statutes do not turn this private site into a public agency. Visitors may:

  • Request access to personal data we hold
  • Ask that inaccurate personal data be corrected
  • Request deletion where the law permits it
  • Opt out of eligible forms of processing

Updates to This Policy

We may revise this policy as practices or requirements change. A revised version will appear here with its new effective date.
